Frequently Asked Questions
Are you in person or virtual? I am in person only. I am willing to consider telehealth as an option depending on where you are located.

What age of clients do you work with? I work with adults 18+ and older throughout the lifespan.
What is session length and frequency? Appointments are 53 minutes.
How long will we work together? It depends. Sometimes therapy can be brief, other times it can be years.
Do you take insurance? Yes, I accept BCBS and UHC. I can also provide a superbill. I advise everyone to call their insurance to confirm I am in network and to ask if you have a mental health deductible/copay. You are responsible for any deductible or copay. I do not call insurance companies on your behalf. It is your responsibility to know your copay/deductible.
Cost? $175 per 53 minutes. I require clients to maintain a card on file.
Cancellation policy? I require a 24-hour notice of cancellation. Meaning, you must contact me outside of the 24-hour window. I offer 1 free cancellation within 24 hours at no charge. After this has been used, you will be responsible to pay for the full session ($175). It is important that we meet consistently to make progress.
Do you prescribe medication? No, I do not prescribe medications. If you want to be evaluated for psychiatric medication, contact your primary care physician or a PMHNP/psychiatrist. If you are already taking medication, I can coordinate care with your prescriber.
Other things? I do not conduct child custody evaluations, nor do I provide custody recommendations. I do not treat ADHD or eating disorders. I do not provide EMDR or brainspotting.
Additionally, I do not write emotional support animal (ESA) letters.
